Safeguarding Your IP
The term
“Intellectual Property” (IP) is a generic expression that
may refer to patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets,
confidential information or any other intangible property
that is created through the intellectual efforts of its
creator.
Regardless
of the meaning of IP to your company, Navista
understands that your intellectual property may be one of
your most valuable assets. For this reason, safeguarding
every customer’s IP is a priority at Navista; it is the
responsibility of every one of our employees and
representatives.
Navista
utilizes effective measures to safeguard every customer’s IP
by preventing unintended exposure and/or dissemination which
includes:
·
Documented
procedures for control of customer furnished data and
documentation
·
Limited
number
of suppliers and adherence to Navista’s approved vendor list
·
Use of
nondisclosure and confidentiality agreements with employees
and suppliers
·
Where
appropriate, identification of documentation as proprietary
and confidential
·
Controlled
access to all data and documentation related to customer’s
business
·
Restricted
and carefully managed access to the Navista facility
We believe
that our recognition of customer IP concerns coupled with
appropriate technical, physical and organizational measures to safeguard customer IP
differentiates Navista from most others in China. Navista’s
senior management is always ready to discuss matters of IP
