Raw Material: China Produced vs. Imported The quality of China produced materials such as Aluminum Alloy, Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel has greatly improved during recent years and is now considered by many industrial metallurgists to be of high grade and excellent quality. Navista has immediate access to an abundant and diverse supply of both China produced materials and imported materials through legitimate and reliable distribution channels. Depending on application, performance requirements and cost parameters, customers can now choose between high quality China produced materials or foreign produced materials. Navista will always comply with customer requirements for material sourcing and will never permit unauthorized substitutions.
Material Certifications
Navista's customers can expect full, open and honest disclosure of all raw material sources for the materials used to manufacture their product.
Through diligent and effective procedures, Navista is able to insure that the materials used in the manufacture of product meets or exceeds customer requirements for both grade and quality. Comprehensive raw material management procedures include:
· Careful and managed selection of material vendors · Strict adherence to Navista's Approved Vendor List (AVL) · Demand for material certifications traceable to point of manufacture · Periodic onsite review of vendor records and material handling operations · Cross referencing of China specifications to U.S. specifications · Routine analysis and verification of materials by independent testing labs
